For a super-obvious use of straight-up 1-4-5 blues chord progression in a song pretty much everybody has heard, listen to Tush by ZZ Top….you can play around with it and find it in all kinds of great classic rock (which is, itself, heavily blues-influenced). AC/DC, ZZ Top, Foghat, etc. all use a variant of that chord progression a lot.

    A measure is a …
A measure is a subdivision on the music sheet contained within bars. That’s why in pop, rock, blues etc. a measure is also called a BAR. Depending on the time signature at the left (the lower number) you get 2, 3 or 4 beats per measure (in most cases). Each measure starts with a “heavier”, accented note on the first beat. Here one measure contains 4 beats. That’s why he counts 1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4 etc.
