Im giving Guitar Lessons, and I recently have a new student who is the youngest ive had, hes in 2nd grade, and hes learning fine, but it seems he is not having fun while doing so. Im use to older students, and im trying to figure out how to make the lessons enjoyable for the youngster. Any ideas from musicians who teach or know anything about this? I have lessons with him again tomorrow (tuesday). Any tips on fun things to teach or any good techniques would be greatly appreciated.

teach him cords and then let him mix and match his chords when hes plugged in to an amp

just teach the kid what he wants to know
