    that was a great lesson, right up my street-that improv around the arps was very very nice!! Can we have some diminshed stuff thrown in too? i’m really confused with the concept of ‘just theow in a diminished lick before the four chord??!

    yes, you can, you have to move this shape on the fretboard to change the roots. IE, on a G blues you can start this arpeggio form from the 3rd fret of the 6th string.
    What you have to study and memorize are the “shape”, because most of them are movable.

    I may have mislead you too. I was tlaking about the 3rd 6th and 9th of the scale. The major 3rd, or 3rd note in the scale A major scale is C#. The 6th note in the scale is F# and the 9th would be a B. Sorry if I misunderstood your question!

I would love to see another lesson on this, perhaps showing how these arpeggios fit in an improvisation over chords, and maybe some theory about how they relate and transform into the other scales you taught us. Because I find it very hard to make this sound sweet over like a jam track. Anyways, keep it up! We all love you!
